Did not ring the bell, nor knocked on my door

Did not ring the bell, nor knocked on my door

Smugly sitting I was, relishing the taste of my last success
Settled were all systems and procedures, no need to review the process

Did not ring the bell, nor knocked on my door
Quietly entered inside failure and shook my systems from the core

By surprise caught I was, for sure
Suddenly from a rich man, categorized I was as poor

Entered my life had failure, to teach me a few lessons I guess
Sit I should on my success, only if I want to make it a mess

Cannot we sit back and idealize our success any more,
These are like the sea shells, by every tide who get washed ashore

Failure and success are like; on the road sides we see the milestones
To be seen, felt may be, but by the walker always left behind to stand all alone

Life is but a journey, to constantly move forward
Weighed down by the weight of failures, we will be nothing but cowards

Failures and success’s add to the taste to make the life enjoyable and whole
To walk ahead, always on the road of life is my agenda sole
